The 2009 Biennial Business Meeting for the Independent Assemblies was conducted on Tuesday, July 14th at the Brick town Hotel Ballroom during the Annual Minister's Conference.Pastor Ken Anderson, Secretary/Treasurer read the minutes from the 2007 meeting, and disclosed the Fellowship's financial statement for 2008. Chairman Mickey Keith recused Himself from headship of the meeting for the duration of the vote, as did Vice President Ted Estes. Dr. Robert Johnson, World Missions Director, then took charge of the meeting and called for a vote on the office of both Mickey and Ted.An overwhelming majority confirmed the following measures: Dr. Ted Estes was confirmed for another 4 year term. Pastor Mickey Keith was was confirmed to the board for another four year term. He was also confirmed as President of the Board until 2013.
